Needles' have taken this old-school 80s baller and dressed it in the same colourways seen in the DC colab, with Needles' signature purple and butterfly motif taking centre stage once more. The two Japanese brands stuck to the original design of the EX89 and have kept the colourways simple but striking. The simplicity of the white and black bases ensure the purple stitching and sock liners stand out, with the co-branding also appearing in purple on the tongues and heels. The Needles' butterfly is embroidered in purple on the heel.
