    Stephane Ashpool of Pigalle is back with another collaboration with Nike - the Parisian designer doesn't seem to let current trends affect his aesthetics when he takes on the '90s-favourite Air Shake Ndestrukt.

    The French streetwear label is famously know for reworking classic and contemporary basketball models, and this time Pigalle turns their attention to two very unique new versions of the already singular look of the classic Dennis Rodman model.

    The Air Shake is reconstructed with a tactile upper layered with premium nubuck in two colour-ways of blue and light pink. The shoe also includes metal “AIR” buttons, elastic panels replacing the usual shoe laces, and Pigalle branding on the heel. Each pair will also come in a co-branded dust bag.

    The Pigalle x Nike Collaboration is set to release in store at 10:00 on Saturday the 24th. Both colours as well as the Benassi slides will launch on Saturday! If there's any stock left by the store closes, we will release the remaining pairs online at 18:00.

  • adidas Consortium x Avenue

    When it comes to style, Antwerp punches above its weight. The relatively small Belgian city emerged internationally after the Antwerp Six – a group of fashion designers who had studied at the Royal Academy – burst onto the global scene during the mid-1980s.

    The Royal Academy’s fashion course is now considered among the nest in the world and in walking distance to the iconic institution, Fashion Museum MOMU showcases the in uence the city has had on global style. In this neighborhood is where Lina Fredriksson opened her footwear boutique Avenue in 2007. For the Consortium series she worked with designer Michael Hernandez of The Bruin Co. and High St. Gallery to present two EQT Support 93/16. The duo took in uences from Fredriksson’s native Scandinavia and appropriated the progressive design language from the Antwerp Six.

    Rather than simply altering materials or colorways, Avenue has demonstrated a bold ethos in its treatment of the EQT Support. By toying with traditions and allowing different cultures to clash, Avenue has enlivened the model with a fresh approach. The retailer selected aniline leather - often used to upholster luxury furniture - for the model’s outer. Soft and sleek when left smooth, it is complemented with embroideries woven directly into the leather, heavily reminiscent of patterns often featured in Scandinavian fabric design.

    Available in black or tan, Avenue’s experimentation has produced an upscale leisure EQT Support with a gently striking design, which removes the model entirely from its running roots.

    Berlin, May 2017

    OVERKILL is the OG sneaker emporium in Berlin. Since opening in 2003 in the multi-cultural Kreuzberg district, OVERKILL has become the city’s foremost hub for street culture. It has grown to become an urban lifestyle store stocking the world’s best footwear, clothing and graffiti equipment. Deeply proud of its civic identity, OVERKILL takes inspiration from the local area and delivers an impressive EQT Support pack in collaboration with adidas Consortium.

    The pack features two models: the EQT Support ADV and the EQT Support Future, titled “Coat of Arms” as the color palette - red, black and white – is a reference to Kreuzberg’s traditional emblem. Despite opening a decade after the EQT Support was first released as a running shoe, OVERKILL holds a long-held love for this particular model and range, being among the stores heavily responsible for the its renaissance. Via events, showcases and previous collaborations, OVERKILL has been assisting the EQT’s revival among the new generation of sneaker enthusiasts and veterans alike who are looking for both heritage and a powerful aesthetic.

    The EQT Support ADV is the classic; a tough runner-turned modern street icon. This model comes in mid grey with black and red accents and the OVERKILL logo on its distinctive ankle strap. The design elements and details lean towards the EQT Support 93 and EQT Guidance 93 which are OVERKILL’s favorites in the EQT series. The most important elements of these silhouettes were fused for this new interpretation.

    The EQT Support Future is the 2017 update with subtle adjustments to further modernize the original. With a slightly off-set lacing system and luxuriant material, its aesthetic is unique and contemporary. The “Coat of Arms” edition comes in two-tone grey with bold red stripes and OVERKILL detailing on the instep.

  • adidas Consortium x Titolo NMD XR1 Trail

    adidas consortium and Swiss footwear powerhouse Titolo collaborate on a fresh, icy NMD. With stores in Zurich, Bern and Basel, Titolo has looked to the region’s dramatic outdoors to create a sneaker inspired by alpine snow zones and hidden glacial phenomena.

    Upon casual inspection, snowscape is a plain blanket, a vast, one-tone expanse of white. But pan out above the mountainside and patterns begin to emerge. The outermost layer of powder shifts, forming tessellations and sweeping, ever-changing corrugations on the surface. The Titolo NMD XR1 Trail reflects this landscape via a loose gauge pattern in the sneaker’s Primeknit upper and perforated leather details, while the asymmetric overlay resembles a snow coated ridge in the sunlight.

    Mountainous patterns are further echoed in the textured structure of the BOOST™ midsole. The outsole, the only part of the shoe that is not white, summons the image of an exposed glacier.
